About The Therapist

As a Massage Therapist at Health Performance Plus, I bring 11 years of experience in Massage industry. My journey began as a Graduate Assistant Instructor, Massage Therapist, Instructor of Massage, Department Chair at Blue Cliff Massage College, and I’ve since become an owner of a massage studio and had the honor of being selected to teach Sports Massage at the 2023 American Massage Therapy Association convention in Cleveland, Ohio.

 

I specialize in Orthopedic and Sports massage and have a track record of helping people with pain either pain free or minimal pain after treatment and enhancing the daily living of my "Guest". Some of my proudest moments include aiding a guest with limited range of motion of the knee get full range of motion in that same knee after a few sessions.

Outside of work, I’m passionate about running, cycling, working-out and camping. I'm part of the mentoring group at American Massage Therapist Association (AMTA). I hold a bachelor's degree from Troy University, Al and I'm Board-certified Therapeutic Massage and Body Works (BCTMB), Certified Personal Trainer- American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), Personal Trainer-American Council on Exercise (ACE), Strength and Conditioning Specialist- Corrective Exercise Specialist-Internation Sport Science Association (ISSA), Nutrition Coach-Precision Nutritionist (Pn1). 

His hobbies include running Ultra marathons (completion of a 100k (over 62 miles) is the longest  Ultra Marathon that he has completed to date), Marathons, and 10k races ( including being a Crescent City Classic in New Orleans, La Top 500 finisher 5 of the last 7 years),  Obstacle races ( including winning an invite to race in the 2017 World Obstacle Race), Cycling,  Duathlons, Camping and he has finished one Triathlon sprint.

Daric has trained clients to run and finish the New York City Marathon, and Chicago Marathon and worked with members of the Steel Magnolias Triathlon Group, members of Tulane University Rowing Team, and members of the High school

Lusher Soccer Team.
